MADISON & RANKIN DISTRICT ATTORNEYS PROVIDE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE TRAINING TO CADETS

Rankin County, MS – Madison and Rankin Counties’ District Attorney Bubba Bramlett, along with members of his office, had the privilege of instructing Class 70 of the Mississippi Department of Public Safety Cadet Class during the week of March 22–27, 2026, at the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy (MLEOTA), providing comprehensive domestic violence training.

The training included both classroom instruction and hands-on, real-life scenarios. Cadets applied what they learned through interactive exercises with role players portraying victims and suspects, gaining practical experience in handling these critical situations.

District Attorney Bramlett emphasized that domestic violence cases are often complex and among the most dangerous calls law enforcement officers respond to. He noted that equipping cadets with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively manage these situations is essential.

“Providing these future officers with the training they need to protect victims, hold offenders accountable, and return home safely to their families at the end of each shift is a top priority for our office,” Bramlett said.
